At Camps Hill Primary School, we are committed to providing a high-quality education that enables every child to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. We regularly review our performance, in a variety of ways, to ensure we are meeting the needs of our pupils and delivering excellent outcomes.
National Performance Data
The latest published performance data for Phonics show that:
- 85% of pupils passed their phonics test in Year 1. This is higher than the National average of 79.9%. In this cohort five pupils were disapplied (worth 1.8 per pupil).
The latest published performance data for the Multiplication Timetable Check (MTC) show that:
- The number of children scoring 25/25 was 65%. This was higher than National by 26.8% (National 38.2%).
The latest published performance data for Key Stage 2 (2025 results) shows:
- 50% of pupils met the expected standard in reading, writing, and maths (Average in Stevenage 54%; in England 62%)
- 72% of children were at the expected standard for Reading which is broadly in line with National (74%).
- 76.3% Children were assessed at expected or above in writing. This was moderated by HCC this year. This is higher than the National Average of 72.3%
- 72.9% Children were at the expected standard or higher in their Grammar, punctuation and Spelling test. This is higher than the National Average
